  • Riser systems design, support and technical recommendations to customers for TLP, FPS and SPAR completion, high-pressure drilling and export risers.
  • Global and local analyses and design for flexible risers, hybrid risers, and rigid top tensioned risers.
  • Providing specifications and support during design reviews with vendors.
  • Third party design verification and analysis management.
  • Technology Group Leader, assisting new engineers on technical issues; significant experience as discipline head on projects providing management support; meeting budgets and deadlines.
  • Languages, fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

  • Directing and coordinating technical and commercial presentations for offshore applications.
  • Working experience with computer applications and software packages, such as: FREECOM3D, FLEXCOM3D, Orcaflex, Shear7.
  • Codes, fully conversant with relevant international (ASTM, API, AISC, AWS, ISO) standards.
  • Strong analytical skills with emphasis on dynamic analysis, random vibrations, and fatigue analysis.
  • Management skills, directed and supervised other contractors on numerous subsea applications and riser projects worldwide.

  • Publications & Guides, authored Guides, and numerous papers in Subsea and Riser projects.
